Please join us in extending warm wishes to Mike Mahannah, Chief Executive Officer, who is retiring from Olympic International Sales on May 19th. After 37 years with Olympic International, Mike is officially retiring and will be greatly missed.

“It has been an honour and privilege working in partnership with Mike since 2008,” said Dana Merritt, President. “His extraordinary dedication and leadership have played a critical role in the growth and success of our sales company.”

“I will truly miss my Olympic family with whom I spent my days with for over 37 years,” said Mike Mahannah.

Mike’s career with Olympic International has truly been remarkable. After graduating with a Bachelor of Engineering from University of Alberta, Mike was hired by the Trane Company and was transferred to Vancouver.  He joined Olympic in 1985 as a partner with a vision for growth. He was instrumental in growing the sales company from six employees to more than 60.  Mike worked for many years in the dual roles of sales engineering and owner-manager.  As the company grew, Mike moved into the role of CEO, further developing, and building Olympics’ team and culture.

As CEO, Mike’s leadership and guidance of the company was focused on bringing strong technical expertise and system innovations to the marketplace. Mike played an integral role in positioning Olympic International as a leader in the HVAC industry for providing world class equipment and technology to the BC market.

In his retirement, Mike plans to continue leading communication courses, travelling on his motorcycle, exploring the world, and spending quality time with family and friends at his new chalet in Whistler.
