As a manufacturer’s representative, we provide high-level factory service support on the product lines Olympic International carries, including Daikin BRB, Daikin Applied, and Aermec. We pride ourselves on being a top-tier HVAC solutions provider, promoting a high level of customer service, industry-leading technical expertise, and support.

We are looking for a HVAC Dispatcher to join our amazing team! This role will include scheduling HVAC technicians by fielding and prioritizing incoming requests, optimizing routes to meet the demand of service work, and creating an efficient field schedule. Your detail-oriented eye will ensure all information is entered correctly when scheduling jobs, ordering parts or filters, and maintaining an organized warehouse. All while providing exceptional customer service!

Responsibilities:

  • Dispatching field technicians, working closely with the Project Coordinator to meet customer needs.
  • Creating work orders, inputting them into the dispatch system (ExpandIT), and downloading reports.
  • Managing all daily field inquiries.
  • Fleet management, managing the vehicle maintenance schedule.
  • Warehouse organization: tracking and labeling incoming parts, maintaining a shop tool list.
  • Ordering parts and supplies when required.
  • Booking transportation and accommodations for out-of-town work while maintaining budgets.
  • Coordination of subcontractors.
  • Other duties as required.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Experience in the HVAC industry is an advantage.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Superior time management, multitasking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team, as well as under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft-based products.
  • Geographical knowledge of BC Lower Mainland.
  • Consistent attendance, punctuality, dependability, and adaptability.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective workplace relationships and work with the field team.
