The Olympic HVAC Parts and Supply division team is a wholesale distributor on the Northshore that supplies equipment and parts to the HVAC & Refrigeration trade. Our parts group is a fast-growing and dynamic team committed to customer service.

Role Overview:
Wholesale distributor of equipment and parts to the HVAC & Refrigeration trade. Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for sales of HVAC parts, equipment, and supplies over the counter/phone including order processing, pricing, providing technical information, finding solutions to customer problems in a timely manner, and assisting management with non-sales-related tasks.



The following is a list of the essential duties and responsibilities of this role. The tasks and time spent performing each task may vary as business needs require. Olympic International maintains the right to modify job duties and responsibilities at its discretion.  The range of specific responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
  • Provides technical support to customers, receives and processes customer inquiries
  • Answers customer calls, parts identification, and proactive product promotion
  • Supplies inventory maintenance by recording quantities used and determining supplies needed
  • Processes accurate quotations and generates invoices
  • Assists management with non-sales-related tasks and/or shipping
  • Practices safe material handling techniques
  • May load and unload shipment of parts, supplies, and equipment
  • May be required to participate in after-hours customer service
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Possesses knowledge of HVAC systems and the ability to demonstrate and discuss those with customers
  • Have a working knowledge and complete understanding of how to process orders, quotes, credits, and back orders on the computer (basic Microsoft Office skills)
  • Understands basic inventory, warehousing, and stocking procedures
  • Must have or be able to obtain a valid Class 5 driver’s license
  • Possesses excellent customer service and negotiation skills, and is able to demonstrate effective selling methods
  • Is an energetic and self-motivated individual capable of multitasking and continuous learning; works easily with others in a high-paced work environment
  • Demonstrates effective communication skills (verbal, written, and active listening)
  • Physically demanding, ability to lift heavy objects (up to 100 lbs).

Educational Requirements:

  • Post-secondary degree/diploma in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, and/or 2+ years of experience in sales or a related occupation
  • Trades experience (HVAC/Plumbing/Electrical) and Forklift experience are considered an asset.
