Projects Fairmont Hotel

Fairmont Hotel is a mixed-use building that includes hotel and residential accommodations located in the heart of the financial district of Vancouver. The 48 storey building includes a luxury hotel featuring 377 guestroom and suites on the first 22 floors, with the remaining floors being condominiums. Olympic supplied Vertical Stacked Heat Pumps, McQuay Horizontal Water Source Heat Pumps, Fan Coils and Air Handlers. Olympic Controls supplied a web-enabled Johnson Facility Building Automation System and a specialized Hotel Suite Control System, that included control of the lighting, drapes, HVAC and temperature. Fairmont Hotel utilized a unique “shared utility” utilizing chilled water from Canada Place (2 McQuay Centrifugal Chillers using sea water for condenser heat rejection).
